Boys!

Banks says in the car, "look mom an airplane!" the plane is low enough you can see the exhaust. He says, "that water shoots out in the sky but never comes down!"

Baylor hit is first home run tonight! Came running into home with his hands in the air and smiling big!

I love these two! Never a dull moment!

Hump Day!

Half way through the busiest week yet in Bowling Green! Weather is still predicting rain for the Derby, which is a problem for the 9 of us that will be standing in it for hours! Let's pray those Mint Juleps make us happier!

Baylor's first field trip is Friday, and I can't wait! I am more excited than him I think. I can remember how much fun field trips were when I was young at Dillon Nature Center and the Kansas Cosmosphere! Memories!

This morning Clint rode with us to school in the very back of the car with the boys reading Baylor's library book, Scorpions. So cute! What a great dad he is. As usual he got out of the car telling me he was sick from my driving, some things never change!

Happy Hump Day!

Catch up photos!

Why is it that you get so much done when you know friends and family are coming to your house??? HMMMMMM....

Went through the boys' closet today, and all I can say is...Clint is so lucky we didn't have a girl! Thank goodness for hand me downs, Banks has a closet even I envy. And, I can't seem to get rid of a few baby things that take me back into the past when these two lil' monsters we cute lil' chunks of baby rolls and drool. Really? What will I ever do with baby Jayhawk baseball hats and 12 month Nike and Adidas tennis shoes for both boys? They look like cabbage patch clothes!

The bowen crew survived their first coaching move to Western Kentucky University!
Baylor is doing great in Kindergarden, although he is still extremely upset that it's all day here. Mornings are really fun too, since we have to leave the house around 7:15am. Clint was right, when he used to say that I was a spoiled west lawrence mom where school didn't start until 8:45! You will be proud to know that Baylor is reading and writing now. I am still getting used to this, but I am a proud mama!! Baylor is playing baseball now and he loves it. We are still working on the catching part, which seems to be pretty important!

Banks is doing great in preschool, going three mornings a week. The rest of the day he plays trains in the playroom, digs in the sandbox or practices riding his bike with NO training wheels! He is my lil' lawyer, as he always argues when I tell him to do something. Almost like he is just making sure I know what I am talking about. Sometimes he wins...especially when he flashes that big smile!

Clint is the DC here and enjoying it so far. I mean really, no pressure, we have until August right?!

I am still unpacking. Almost done, almost. I miss the store and know that my partner is carrying all the weight since I am gone. I am still working on more networking for JNKS, now on Facebook and Twitter, but it's not the same. Less stressful? Yes! But...not the same. I am thinking of trunk shows for the fall here in KY. Why I just can't do the laundry is beyond me?

I am looking forward to keeping everyone updated on the Bowen Crew!
